Description
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), like all federal government departments, is required to measure the performance of its initiatives, risk management instruments, and its Programs within its Departmental Results Framework, in achieving their expected results, to make sure that they remain relevant and effective. In this self-paced e-learning course, you will learn about results-based management and various aspects of performance measurement.
Based on principles and examples related to risk management, this training is easily adaptable to any other measures and policies implemented within the department to deliver and improve environmental results to Canadians.
You will learn how to:
- Develop a performance measurement strategy (including logic model, outcome statements and performance indicators)
- Collect and report data
- Use results to adjust your program activities or initiatives
