This training is designed to provide CEPA Analysts with a comprehensive understanding of their authority and responsibilities under the Act. Participants will explore the specific provisions that govern their powers and limitations, learn about enforcement activities within the Enforcement Branch, and understand how their role aligns with broader enforcement objectives.
Course Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the role and responsibilities of a CEPA Analyst
- Understand and integrate the Certificate of Analyst in their work
- Understand proper evidence handling procedures
- Identify the scope and limitations of their enforcement powers
- Recognize key enforcement activities and how to support them effectively
- Successfully complete the final exam to confirm their understanding of the material
