The Fisheries Act is Canada’s most important statute to prevent water pollution and to protect and preserve Canada’s fisheries resource. This self-paced course will examine key aspects of the Fisheries Act; specifically, provisions that fall under the responsibility of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), as well as the related enforcement process.
