This online training is part of a suite of introductory modules on risk management instruments, such as pollution prevention (P2) planning notices and environmental performance agreements (EPAs), offered through ECCourses.

Codes of practice and release guidelines are two separate instruments available to risk managers to address environmental issues. They fall under voluntary approaches as they are not enforceable, which means that they don’t have force of law.
