Description

This training is open to ECCC employees only.

This is the first part of a 6 part mandatory training for all ECCC Supervisors, managers and executives.

At the end of Part 1, you will be able to:

1. Recognize the importance of leadership in the OHS Framework, who are the other key players, and ECCC’s commitment to OHS.
2. Recognize the importance of applying knowledge of your roles and responsibilities to ensure compliance and exercise due diligence.
3. Recognize why you need to identify hazards, complete risk assessments as well as implement preventive measures and document Safe Work Procedures.
4. Recognize why you must take immediate action upon being informed of a hazardous occurrence and ensure timely investigation, record keeping and reporting.
