This third course of the Coastal Flooding series focuses on the procedures and best practices needed to communicate and manage Impact-based Coastal Flooding Alerts and the Coastal Flooding Risk Outlook.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Define and identify the concepts and process involved in the Risk and Impact Assessment associated with Coastal Flooding
- Define and identify the procedures and products that can be used to communicate the impacts and the risk from coastal flooding
- Issue, update and terminate a Coastal Flooding Warning
- Publish a Coastal Flooding Risk Outlook from scratch, from the forecast in effect or by importing CMC guidance for any regional office.
