Description

This third course of the Coastal Flooding series focuses on the procedures and best practices needed to communicate and manage Impact-based Coastal Flooding Alerts and the Coastal Flooding Risk Outlook.

 

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  1. Define and identify the concepts and process involved in the Risk and Impact Assessment associated with Coastal Flooding
  2. Define and identify the procedures and products that can be used to communicate the impacts and the risk from coastal flooding
  3. Issue, update and terminate a Coastal Flooding Warning
  4. Publish a Coastal Flooding Risk Outlook from scratch, from the forecast in effect or by importing CMC guidance for any regional office.
